- (A) My key learning points from each session…
1. Importance of Water - Dirty and Clean
Not all microbes are bad although the bad ones will cause disease such as typhoid fever and etc. Also the key enablers of economic development is water plus energy.
2. Revolution of Microelectronics Technology
IC chip is the brain of the electronics and that the IC refers to integrated circuits. Also from the 9O's the audio enable deaf to hear clearly and and the video enable blind to see properly.
3. Biomedical Engineering & Technology (Nano science and Nano technology)
Smaller size for a fixed volume = larger surface area and that 2D nanostructure equals to films while 1D nanostructure refers to wires and 0D nanostructure equal to particles.
4. IT for Animation by Prof Seah Hock Soon
In Animation, 2D is more difficult than 3D as there is high labour cost and also budget pressure. In Animation there is also a need of Mathematic and the law of physics.
5. Disappearing glaciers, rising sea levels, and why gravity is even more important than you think
Sea level rise will not be the same everywhere.

The plenary session that leaves the deepest impression on me is...2. Revolution of Microelectronics Technology
What I like about it is that the speaker was really motivational and also I am very interested in this topic because my father is teaching something like this thus I understand this talk better.
